Ideas for using technology in the classroom
Though not an activity, here are 32 ideas for integrating technology into the classroom, with a focus on flexibility. Focusing on how you teach, and how your pupils learn can only be done by you, so it’s up to you how you implement these interactive technology ideas.
Random Word Warm-Ups
Featuring images of random symbols mixed together to create random metaphors, for word starters, you could display an image, tell the class that it’s a metaphor, and you want them to brainstorm what it could mean, telling them to focus on their vocabulary. Or, you could ask them to describe the images with careful focus on their vocabulary.

UK KS1 and KS2 IWB Resources
A relatively new company have emerged producing flash resources for whiteboards. They include religion and bible stories, jigsaw puzzles aimed at KS1 teachers and pupils, printable PDF activity sheets, word puzzles, and other interactive resources. The quality appear very usable and of a reasonable quality.
